NextUpComedy.com Competition - Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility: 

1.1 The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of NextUp Comedy Limited and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or judging of the competition.

2. Competition Period: 

2.1 The competition will run from December 15th, 2023, to January 31st, 2024 (the "Competition Period").

3. How to Enter: 

3.1 To enter the competition, participants must answer the online question provided on the NextUpComedy.com website during the Competition Period. 

3.2 Only one entry is allowed per person per week.

4. Prize: 4.1 The prize for the competition is lifetime membership to NextUpComedy.com, a subscription service and virtual comedy club. 

4.2 Winners will be selected at random on a weekly basis during the Competition Period. Winners will be chosen at random from all successful entries.

5. Winner Selection: 

5.1 Winners will be randomly selected on Monday at 4pm (GMT) from all eligible entries received the previous week during the Competition Period. 

5.2 The selection will take place every week and will be conducted by a representative of NextUp Comedy Limited.

6. Notification of Winners: 

6.1 Winners will be notified via the email address provided during entry within seven days of the weekly draw. 

6.2 If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner.

7. Prize Conditions: 

7.1 The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. 

7.2 NextUp Comedy Limited reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

8. Data Protection: 

8.1 Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

10. General Conditions: 

10.1 NextUp Comedy Limited reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of NextUp Comedy Limited’s control.

11. Governing Law: 

11.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

By entering the competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
